Adam's Big Move

The February before we graduated in May 2008, Adam accepted a position with New York Life. He worked as a financial services specialist (or as I like to say, a financial advisor). While there, he completed his Series 6 and 63 exams. He passed both on the first try with flying colors. I was so proud of him! He achieved a lot his first year, but decided to resign in September of this year. He took a position with TD Ameritrade which meant he would have to move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I did not realize how quickly this move would take place. He accepted the position in about the middle of October. He started on November 2nd, which meant moving the last week of October. Everything happened so fast.

TD Ameritrade

It's been about two weeks since I have seen Adam, but we talk everyday. I am so proud of him! He is training to take the Series 7. I don't know much about the exams and certifications, but I think this is his last series test that he needs to be fully certified to do investments. I have no doubt he will ace this one as well! :) He is disciplined and studies hard everyday. He seems to really enjoy the company and atmosphere so far. He was telling me about the cafeteria and he was excited because they have two Wii's in there. Ha ha! Also, he really likes where he is living. That's always a plus. I can't wait to go visit him in December after the semester is over. Also, I'm really excited because he is coming to visit this weekend (and to go to the Tech game)! :)
